Morning fine people,

First of all mods, I apologise for more than likely posting this in the wrong forum but feel free to move where is needed :)

We have just migrated to Win 7 from XP and will start using outlook 2010 site wide. Last April we migrated our email system to live at edu which was great.

Up until we migrated, we could on XP use the autofind on outlook to pull down our data, similar to an exchange server. Migrated my machine to Win 7 last night and the autofind kept telling me that Outlook was offline and I am completely stumped. I have entered in my IMAP/SMTP settings and i can get mail but only current inbox mail and ignores all my folders. Grrrr.

Has anyone else hit this wall? I am stuck. Please help I am at my wits end!

PS attempted same on XP system and works absolutely fine

Hi everyone sorry for the late reply, hand to take some leave, but I am now back in the chair - issue resolved, it seemed there was a GPO setting in Win 7 that needed to be changed to allow the TLS encryption through (XP didn't really care or worry about it).

Took 3rd line to work it out, but all is good now - and again sorry for the lateness in coming back to you :)
