[sims] AC Year Rollover and ParentPay

I've been working on a standard, start of September rollover on SIMS and the Bursar broke me some very bad news this morning. Apparently ParentPay isn't playing very nicely with pre-admissions and that tomorrow the entire SIMS system needs to rollover for them to do an 'upgrade.'

 

So the question is, does anyone here use SIMS and ParentPay and do you have to do anything special in the summer holidays? MISSync keeps sending the bursar EMails about pre-admissions missing a year group and she is insistent that the system needs to be rolled over early. As this is my first solo rollover and everything is far from ready (still fighting with Academic Promotion) the idea of jumping the gun in rollover seems a bit daunting.

I am running both. I can say that I have never had an issue with this. Are you remembering to tick the pre-admissions box when using MIS sync.

There is a end of year / start of year pack from ParentPay have you had that CAM? It tells you everything you need to do for SIMS schools and Non-SIMS which is what we are and its worked fine for us.

I'll see if I can get that off the bursar tomorrow then. I'm new to the position having been in it only a few months and fighting to get things under control whilst battling with fixed ways.
