WithoutMotive Posted July 25, 2012 Posted July 25, 2012 Hi guys, I've had our school Twitter feed displayed on our Joomla site before and all was well. However, I've got to put it back on but, for some reason, it doesn't look right. I'm getting a bizarre red rectangle and I don't know where it's coming from. Changing the colours of the Twitter module itself makes no different. That red rectangle is still there. Anyone have any ideas? Picture attached. Ta.
3s-gtech Posted July 25, 2012 Posted July 25, 2012 Firefox browser, right click on the red box, and select Inspect Element. That should show you the name of the div it's in, and should reference any relevant CSS too. You can then tweak or delete the box in your theme. You can do this too in Chrome, but I don't use it so not sure how! 1
WithoutMotive Posted July 25, 2012 Author Posted July 25, 2012 Thanks for that. Just done it and found that the red box is defined in our local css for anything . Unfortunately, the Twitter widget defines that particular area as in an external css. If I change to be not red, it messes up the rest of my titles. I've tweaked a bit and it looks a little better. Thanks again.
