Hi

We have a CC4 network and use RM tutor 5. But for it to work and even for the link to show up in all programs we have to set staff up as privileged users on that particular machine, which is annoying. Is this how tutor works? Or is this a fault on our installation?

Does yours just work or do you also have to make them privileged user?

Thanks

I'm not sure about CC4 [we're still on CC3 for the moment], but it sounds like you haven't put the shortcut somewhere allocated to teachers.

Check the program sets tab in RMMC [if it's the same as CC3].

Certainly an idea to check what groups you have assigned to the Program Set that the shortcut is in as it does sound like you may not have Teaching Staff listed in there.

We have been using RM tutor on CC4 for a while now and have no problems it might be worth checking your teachers Users Registry policy and the PC policies which are applied along with as ajs said the program sets as it should all work no problems proving all that is set correctly RM tutor should work a dream.

Hi Sorry about the delay been a bit manic. Here is the security set on the package. Anything wrong with it that would stop normal teaching staff from running it without priviledge user access.

Thanks

There's nothing in there that jumps out at me as stopping Teaching Staff from accessing the application. What groups do you have set for the Program Set?
