All you can do is investigate and then report to Link2ICT if required. Unfortunately Forensic take a painfully long time to fix problems such as the Adobe Reader issue. Wouldn't surprise me if installing IE10 makes things worse too with PCE installed (I've not tried as yet).

It is possible it crashes certain sites I agree. Make a note and perform some testing yourself. If you can re-create the prob, then open a request to Link2ICT.

One of our most used online Maths resource (and most expensive) has suddenly started to throw a wobbly. Didn't take long to realise it was only after PCE updated itself to 4148.

I must admit PCE 5148 has been rock solid for me (I know incredible) running Win 7 SP1 x86, IE 10.0.6, Flash 11.7.700.224 and Adobe Reader 11.0.3.

To be fair, I hadn't noticed that it had gone to 5148 until I started looking into this problem. I've emailed them, so hopefully they can fix it.

Maths Games - from Mangahigh.com It loads ok just falls over when a game is started. I've just found a machine that runs ok with 5148 but it's rarity.

I have to say we have had very few issues since 5148 came out. We have the odd word crash but nothing major (that we've been told about anyway).

 

I have just loaded the site on my machine (running 5148) using chrome and it worked fine even loading the games.

Interesting. I've tried two machines that wouldn't run Mangahigh. Revoved PCE and they both worked. Re-installed 5145 and they still worked. Have to wait and see what happens when they update to 5148.

I suppose I better add, My machine is a i5 with 8Gb ram running win 7 pro chrome version 27.0.1453.110 m PCE version 5148 with sophos 10.3 AV - just in case there is any difference

Same Chrome version, the computers are lower spec. The same thing happens in IE10. I suppose 5148 could use slightly more resource that tips them over the edge. I haven't heard back from Forensic yet, they may have an answer.
