speckytecky Posted July 10, 2012 Posted July 10, 2012 Our Admin staff have just accessed some results they were waiting for the .x55 extension filename.x55 is not one I have come across before it tries by default to open with Adobe Reader x but fails to open. Tried it with Foxit and that doesn't open it either? Anyone else come across this?
EduTech Posted July 10, 2012 Posted July 10, 2012 Try Changing the File Extension to .PDF or/ .DOCX depending on what they expected it to be (if they knew) :-) James.
mac_shinobi Posted July 10, 2012 Posted July 10, 2012 If you adjust the file extension to a text file so name.txt and then open said file with notepad, most of it will be symbols etc but is there any sign of what the file format should be in the header ( top of the text file ) so 1.4 pdf or the likes ?
Steve21 Posted July 10, 2012 Posted July 10, 2012 It's part of SIMs I think. We have 90000million of those files ranged from .x1 to .x9000million that get created during reports/results etc. Check your SIMs examhold folders etc Steve 1
