glennda Posted July 6, 2012 Author Posted July 6, 2012 Who do they use in lieu of BT then? well BT openreach as they cannot use help that!! but we are a zen partner so tend to use them where available.

As so you are still relying on the BT network via a 3rd party reselling BT wholesale. Rather than using another network (TalkTalk, C&W, Virgin, etc)?

Only resell when they don't have a presence in the local exchange - where my office has a presence in the local exchange. If i do trace out i never touch the BT network.
enjay Posted July 6, 2012 Posted July 6, 2012 We're having more Internet problems. This time, BT's web site says it is because of the adverse weather conditions!

enjay Posted July 6, 2012 Posted July 6, 2012 Oh no the waterproof cables got wet... or the exchanges flooded The latter is possible. Their web site does re-assure me that they're doing everything they can to fix it. I'm not sure if that means saying "we can't control the weather" and doing nothing, or whether there are some BT engineers out doing a sundance somewhere.... :-)
Geoff Posted July 6, 2012 Posted July 6, 2012 Probably a leaky roof. They never look after the exchange buildings well and they are all 70esque eyesores with flat roofs.
