That's adressed here.

And how does it look in other browsers, and if you disable that skin in FF?

I can't comment on other browsers, but we don't have firefox installed here at all.

And it looks the same as what Oaktech is seeing.

Please read this post on the front page: EduGeek.net - Welcome to EduGeek v5 - Stage 1

Essentially, Microsoft Office 365 are sponsoring the launch of the new site :)

GAAAAH MY EYES!!!

The internet lagged and only loaded the background... So much orange...

Oooh. Interesting.

Any chance we can swear as much as we link WITHOUT infractions?

Another site I used to go on did that, any swear word you tried to use just got changed to "*beep*" [on one section it changed to "*derp*"]

The new tabbed forum header looks OK to me in IE (top), degraded in Firefox (middle), and horrible in Chrome (bottom) - some kind of pixellated drop shadows going on.

Never thought I'd say this... IE looks the best.

I've looked at it in the latest stable versions of IE, Chrome, Firefox and Opera. Looks fine in all (a few pixels difference here and there). The browser the OP is using is a little bit 'niche' from what I can see though, and you can't cater for every single device perfectly.

Also, those screenshots don't match what I see.

AHH MY EYES

TOO BRIGHT.... TOOOOOOOO BRIGHT....

Can we have the darker blue theme back please?

As most of you don't get enough sunlight anyway we thought it may be a good idea to artifically introduce some into your lairs, sorry, offices. Please excuse us for any healthy skin tones that may arise.

In no way is burnt skin healthy.

Deathly pale is the new tanned.

Your screenshots look better than mine for some reason...tried flushing the Google Chrome cache, think it might have improved slightly...still don't like the look of it much though. In your screenshots, IE looks the best, and this is because there's no visible shadow effect (or it's extremely subtle) whereas in the others, it's definitely there and not helping much. I'd be inclined to lose it myself.

Exactly the same in ie8,

Exactly the same in firefox unskinned,

Correctly layed out but grainy-as in chrome.

Do you have a proxy? In the past, edugeek updates have looked odd as the proxy had cached something and needed clearing from there too.

Proxy should honour the expiry time on the HTTP headers though! Or at least a force refresh from it's clients browsers.

So, it's official. Microsoft products set people on fire.
