Recommend a VM/SAN company for upgrades?

Hi,

 

I need some work doing on our SAN and VM hosts this summer. I've been working with one of my regular suppliers but hadn't envisaged the price tag being what it is, so I now need to go for three quotes.

 

I have used three different companies for all our SAN/VM work in recent years, one of whom has been ignoring me for the last six months, so I'm after one or more companies you can recommend for this type of work.

 

I've used ANS Group, Apex/APSU and CAE (listed in alphabetical order).

 

I have no qualms about who wins the work under tender as I have good enough grasp of how it's set up for going forward, I just don't have the knowledge to do it myself.

 

Any recommendations?

If you're an academy then put it out as an ITQ through the Crescent Purchasing Consortium

If you're an LEA school then put it through the Government Procurement Service

Had them install 2x Netapp, hosts and perform the virtualisation with no downtime (we did this during term time) and they are doing another Netapp / host install at our other secondary (again, during term time due to time constraints etc).
