Hey,

I've just been looking into our DNS on our two DCs (one 2K3R2, other 2K8R2) and replication seems to be fine between the two... but there's loads of records that appear to be old, unneeded or not updated when DHCP gives the lease out to a different machine. For example, many of our netbooks have between 2 and 6 different DNS records for different IPs.

I'm hesitant to delete any in case it's an active record but I was wondering if there's any way I can remove all old records and have it all be rebuilt automatically?

Thanks :)
