So we have nailed it to the lan card then? You could see if you can flash the boot rom to the latest version. Realtek May kill the card though.

apeman Posted July 4, 2012 Posted July 4, 2012 I have had a similar problem with a realtek card in the past (can't remember the model) and i was using RIS and WDS. We found out if you hit the pause/break key when you see TFTP.... like in your screenshot and leave it 15 to 30 seconds then press any key it will drop in. I was convinced the issue was caused by spanning tree being miss configured but never got round to doing more testing
twin--turbo Posted July 4, 2012 Posted July 4, 2012 SPT may cause an issue, had something similar on a Cisco CAT4006 running CATOS which took too long to put the port in the forwarding state. It took a lot of diging to find a little documented host command. We had it sort of working by putting a dumb L2 switch in the chain so the core switch port was up constantly. Not a hugely likely cause though..
