SimpleSi Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 I've persuaded a head to drop having to have Hector the Dophin prancing around the screen as our internet safety protector but he wanted an alternative and was happy with using Windows key-D as an alternative. Any easier methods anyone using and failing that anyone got any ideas for a small slogan I can stick on keyboards/monitors/laptops to say press Win-D when something bad comes up? Simon
FN-GM Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 It windows 7 press the little rectangle in the far right of the screen next to the clock. Windows XP can have show desktop in quick launch.
SimpleSi Posted June 18, 2012 Author Posted June 18, 2012 This new fangled Win7 thingy might be alright after all Si

X-13 Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 You should have a pre-change image... With Hector jumping into space saying "so long and thanks for all the fish." 2
SimpleSi Posted June 19, 2012 Author Posted June 19, 2012 How about even simpler if you see something you don't like turn the screen off or shut the netbook job done This is a political compromise The ^*(((&&& dolphin just gets in the way of things - more so on a netbook screen but they've enshrined it into their AUP and don't want to not have something to replace it with. Obviously in practice, if anything dodgy gets through the filters, the kids all call out to each other to say "come and look at this" Si
