Hi Everyone,

I've just bought a SonicWALL SRA 4200 SSL VPN which I would like to license.

When I try to license it, it fails with the following error;

System > Licenses

Error connecting to server, please check DNS and other network settings

I cannot see anywhere to configure a proxy server for the SSL VPN to use in order to connect to the sonicwall servers.

The box is sat on our local lan and the dns entry is forwarded on ports 80 and 443 by our ISP.

Any pointers would be appreciated!

Thanks, Ed

I have this and had the same issue.

This is what I did

I setup XO with an IP address on the internal network and set the DNS setting to our local DNS server and create an object for the SRA system in sonicwall to allow access out.

I then followed the guide and built the remote access network on the X1 Port, works great - now if only someone knew how to enable copy and paste from the local machine to the remote session in HTML5 I will be sorted.

so

X0: 192.168.xx

X1 : 192.168.201.xx
