INFORMATION SYSTEMS MANAGER

 

The Role

Reporting directly to the Bursar, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and development of the ICT systems at both Eastbourne College and St Andrew’s School. You will work closely with the management teams at both schools and provide effective leadership to the technical teams.

 

The Person

You will be a network manager with experience in a wide range of technical fields including Microsoft server-based networks, Linux, Apple server and desktop technology and wi-fi infrastructures. You will have an excellent track record in managing a successful IT department. Whilst a knowledge of the private education system is useful, a willingness to learn about this specialist field is important. Schools’ communities - teachers, pupils, parents, Governors etc - and particularly boarding schools which operate 24/7 place high demands on their ICT infrastructure. We therefore require an individual with excellent interpersonal skills who is eager to take on this challenging environment with a hands-on, resilient, flexible and “can do” approach.

 

Remuneration

The starting salary will be in the region of £40,000 depending on experience.
