Our Head has come to me for advice as he is in the market for a smartphone. He's seen a good deal on a Blackberry curve 9320 and the specs look ok but can anyone confirm whether it will connect to the web via a proxy so that he can use it on the web in school? It's the only bit I can't find.

Cheers

Could be why he's getting a good deal!

That may not be a showstopper though so I could still do with knowing:)

None in 6 either. However mine (9300) just works, mostly via the .pac file on network (automatic proxy)

Hmmm haven't got one of those, but from a little searching around it looks as if I can create one quite simply... I'll have a go!

Does he really need to access the web via wifi? I find the screens not that great on BBs so loading anything via 3g is not that much slower. I have wifi off on my BB to save battery anyway
