[ms office - 2007] in excel 2007, unable to find printer in drop down list

Hello All,

 

Here's an interesting one for you:)

 

We have a user who is unable to see any of the printers within excel 07 but is able to print from Word, PowerPoint etc.

When I log in to the computer it works fine, and if he logs on to another computer the same issue happens

 

What I have done:

repaired MSO07

Installed MSo07SP3

re installed the printers

opened in Safemode

 

Here are the details:

User Profile type: roaming

OS: XP PRO SP3

Printer Drivers: HP (not Microsoft)

Try allocating the user a new profile.

[FN-GM]

This has been reported a couple of times to us and we have been unable to recreate it. It just randomly fixes itself. We do know its not the profile at fault.
