[acs] Double Entry - Report

Well the first run of reports i do and it goes belly up

 

i set the assessment template up and the exam to allow KS3 NC Levels to be entered via ePortal, all was going well until i ran off some reports and noticed double entries for some students (not always the same subject)

 

i had a word with the particular teacher who entered this and the told me she was entering the results at home and was having trouble saving - she eventually did save them at home but when she got to work she checked and saw that a few was missing so added them again.

 

I run the report today and find this (see attached)

 

I look on ePortal and the teaching group this child is in and see the first one in the report but the other one is not to be found :?:

 

Is there a way of removing one? limiting the report to one?

Serco have a tool for deleting such duplicate records - Tablefix.exe

 

Are you using the latest version of ePortal (with the latest patch)...

Yup Tablefix.exe did most of the duplicates (250+) of the little buggers
