Dell MD 3200i SAN

Just a quick question, we have just purchased a Dell MD3200i SAN to go with a new virtualised environment.

 

The SAN comes with management software and I was wondering where to install this. Should I install in a temporary location and then create a new virtual server to install management tools etc on.

Our Virtualised environment has a dedicated box we use for the vCenter/vSphere server... that doubles up as our MDSM machine as well (since it's able to see all the management addresses).

Well after much reading tonight I am going go for the install in the morning, I will use physical machine and see how it goes.
