Internet Going Down

Hi

 

Quite often at the moment our internet seems to go down. Still says connected in the router, outlook imap and smtp still work, but http doesn't.

 

When you power cycle the router it comes back online again.

 

Last night it was off over night, yet when I rung the isp this morning they said it had been connected all night.

 

Does anyone know what I can use to see whats causing it - or is it an isp issue?

 

When I log directly on to the server, that has DNS straight to the router that doesn't work either so I don't think its a DNS issue.

Try another router for the time being...... Could be a DHCP lease timeout or something on your router which disconnects you and once you power cycle it renews the lease.
