The raised round insert on the base of the table will break your arm if you actually tried to use it as a shied to block a heavy blow. Also, the wider section at the base of the club where you hold it would make it uncomfortable / painful to use as a weapon as well.

 

A good old baseball bat under the bed and a wife who is horrifically scary without makeup is all you need as a deterrent these days to make sure you get a sound nights sleep :)

I'm moving to Canada in a month so soon to be 2 dozen alarm mines to keep the coyotes/racoons at bay.... though I think maybe synack has the right idea with claymores.... Edited by DT2

Claymores as in the explosives, or the sword? I sleep soundly knowing that in any given room there is a sword (including a claymore - the Scottish broadsword variety that measures about 5' tall).

The bang type... taking out coyotes with a broadsword is not really my forte.... :) But it sounds like fun.

Assuming N+1 coyotes, you'd spend a fortune on window cleaning materials. (*boom* *meaty splosh*)
