jjohnsoncantell Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 Greetings, I am currently using sophos endpoint protection and wish to keep using it but i have been asked to requote to prove vfm. I was quoted a very competitive price for symantec endpoint and while the quote for Mcafee was well off in terms of price, as a whole group of products i would like your opinions on which of the three is best in your eyes. Thanks for your views. James
cpjitservices Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 I think Sophos is best for the management side of things with Enterprise Console... and rolling out to clients is really easy! the pricing really all depends how many clients you have and what server licenses you need etc etc.
sparkeh Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 I use both Symantec and Sophos at different sites and really prefer Sophos. Symantec, like all Symantec products, is mind bendingly difficult and over complex to use (though that could just be me). The Sophos console is much easier to use and deploy to clients.
Sandman Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 I actually prefer Kaspersky although Sophos is a close second!
deano Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 What about Microsoft Endpoint Protection? We get it free with our Volume Licensing
