Erm... incorrect...

http://www.google.com/googlegear.html

Please note: The website formerly known as Googlegear.com is not now and has never been associated with Google Inc., and is now zipzoomfly.com.

but you really think they swapped from GoogleGear to ZipZoomFly on a whim? nah Google didnt like them using their 'trademarked' phrase

And if it aint associated with Google Inc why on earth is http://www.googlegear.com forwarding to Google?

Is it just me or is this a conversation involving 2 different topics..

ZipZoomfly is nothing whatsoever to do with the Google Gears system.. It's just a name that by the sounds of it Google bought up to avoid any confusion.

So yeah the domain is related but in terms of actual Google Gears, the system.. naff all.
