Firefly Learning Platform / Website / Intranet

Our school is currently using London MLE (Fronter) for our Learning platform and Joomla 1.5 for our website.

 

Rather than migrating our website from Joomla 1.5 to Joomla 2.5, we're looking at the possibility of implementing a fully integrated Learning Platform, website and intranet.

 

We're having a look at firefly.net, which seems really good.

 

Does anyone on here have any experience of Firefly that they could share? Good / bad / other?

I have seen Firefly.net but they seems more like normal CMS with some learning platform features than proper VLE.

What about Moodle? Moodle seems to do much much more than Firefly and has large support community.
