Creating new Public DNS Server

I work for a company who host DNS for some clients, At present it was just a single server so no failover to anywhere if for what ever reason the DNS Server went down.

 

I've built a second server and setup all domains as secondary's and they replicate fine from the first.

 

is there anything special I need to do or can i just add ns2.domain.co.uk to the whois records with Nominet?

Yep, just add the second nameserver address to the domain registrar entry.
