beast_gts Posted June 1, 2007 Posted June 1, 2007 My head wants an Interactive Whiteboard mounted on a swing arm so it can be used against a window then folded against a wall for storage. I vaguely recall seeing this done somewhere else, but cannot remember where! Anyone got one of these (or something similar)?
western Posted June 1, 2007 Posted June 1, 2007 A lot of the products that actually say swing arm do not actually swing This was described as a swing arm once! http://www.sahara-products.com/largeview.php?alt=Sahara+Boom+Arm&picture=269853001117530291.jpg&width=500&height=500 We use these on the odd occasion when a ceiling fixing is not possible.
ConTheITGuy Posted June 1, 2007 Posted June 1, 2007 The new Promethean projector setups are definitely on a swing arm, and I'm pretty sure I have seen a little cage you can put on the wall to swing them into overnight! However, I think (and I could be wrong of course), that the OP wants to mount the board so that it swings out? Though if there is room to store it against the wall - could you just not use the board there? DISCLAIMER: I may be talking nonsense Andy

DISCLAIMER: I may be talking nonsense Andy We have thease and they are called the Promethean +2 The arm with the projector does swing.... but the projector is fastened to the frame which has to be securely mounted to the wall... and i mean with 6 bolts as the board slides up and down.. PS the standard installation is for very small people..
tosca925 Posted June 1, 2007 Posted June 1, 2007 We have the Promethean +2 as well in one of our rooms. Very useful but its the arm only that swings..........not sure if this is any good to you.
