Exchange 2010 Message Recipient Limit for a group?

Hi,

 

I've got a number of students that have decided to do a CTRL+A on the address book and send to *everyone*.

 

We don't really want to remove the global address book from everybody, but want to be able to address it...

 

What we'd ideally like to do is be able to put in place either:

- More than XX recipients, the message is dropped with an error (for STUDENTS only... so the Global Transport Settings thing doesn't work)

- More than YY recipients, a popup message "are you sure you want to send to YY people"?

 

...any other suggestions?

You can set the maximum recipients on the mailbox for those users to x

As for the pop, mailtips may help you here. But they dont popup just on top of your message.
