HELP, problems with realtex WLAN

I recntly was at a trade show with my laptop and was connected to a network fine, when I got home I cant connect to my network, my wife's laptop connects fine to my home network but mine tells me to reset the router, that there is a router issue. Any help??? I'm a computer illiterate

Did you or someone configure a static IP address or a proxy server?
