Sam_Brown Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 Afternoon all, Has anyone had an isssue in the past with CC4 regarding not being able to edit Registry Policies due to the options all being grayed out? I'm logged into the RM Management Console and I can browse all the Registry Policies but I'm unable to edit them. Which is strange... because last week I had no issues editing them! I'm probably doing something stupid but it's a new CC4 system which is all new to me so thought I'd ask on here before I brave Tech Support...
jbunoomally Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 Maybe the gpo folders have had perms or attribs changed and you don't have permission to change them. What happens when you clone the Reg Pol; can you edit the newly created one? JB. 1
north-ict Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 (edited) You probably did check this anyways but you haven't accidentally logged into the console with a lower tier user? Edited April 26, 2012 by north-ict 1
HarryMonkey Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 Do other admin type users have the same problem? Have you tried a profile reset on the affected user? 1
Sam_Brown Posted April 26, 2012 Author Posted April 26, 2012 For some reason the SystemAdmin user has had some of it's System Roles unticked. No idea how this happened but easy enough to fix and feeling stupid I didn't think of that myself. Thanks in the help.
