sonicwall single sign on (SSO) apple mac os x

Hi all,

We're having problems making our sonicwall "E class" firewall and web filtering work with OS X.

 

We currently have the single sign on agent installed on a windows DC.

 

We're using WMI to determine the user who is logged in on windows desktops but obviously this doesn't work with OS X or macs.

 

We have a "magic triangle" of Windows DC -> Mac Server -> Mac Desktop

 

There are other SSO options such as event logs, but we've found them to be unreliable.

 

Would be interested to hear of anyone who has a sonicwall proxy solution working with OS x.

 

Any help / advice much appreciated.
