Software Developer/Software Analyst/Technologist

Award-Winning education-sector communication and data-extraction Software Company based in West-Essex easily commutable from Central London, Herts and Essex (M11, M25, A12, A13 etc) requires an enthusiastic software developer with a passion for new development technologies. Solid knowledge of Microsoft development technologies, including C#, SQL (or MYsql), Visual Studio, .net are essential, some educational DBMS / MIS (eg Sims, cmis, vle, e1, g2 etc) background is highly advantageous. Experience with smartphone, iPhone, iPad, Blackberry, RIM and other cutting edge app development are highly desirable. A degree in computing science, software engineering or other computer based specialism and / or relevant industry qualifications a real advantage. You will be required to assist with the development of new software solutions, services and bespoke apps. Provide a range of development and support services mainly to Commercial business’, Education Authorities and individual schools/colleges/academies in the UK, America and Australia. As well as work within the technical team in the creation of bespoke data extract services, social networking and networking type products.
