[bug/error] Newly Posted Threads Are Not Appearing In My User Control Panel

I have posted a new thread today and it has not appeared at the top of the list of subscribed threads in my Control Panel as I would normally expect it to. Also old threads [from yesterday] are still listed there as having new posts even though I had read these last night. When I look at these threads the new content remains unread [the thread title remains bold]

 

Edit: I have just tried the same thing in Internet Explorer. The posts appeared as new items. Went into each one in turn to clear the new posts flag. Went back to Chrome to check again and the problem has cleared. Probably more Chrome related than a site problem then.

 

Edit 2: Still not right as new posts are not appearing in Control Panel for Chrome or Internet Explorer. Have cleared the cache. Is anyone else seeing this problem?

I'm getting pages of old threads when I click on New Posts too... Mobile version on an iPhone4

Yep same issue. Chrome on Win 7.

I think I have found the problem, after updating we seem to change to Database based post read marking unlike normal which is cookie based.

The heaps of old posts you were seeing @elsiegee40 was I think just any posts your account has not read in the last 3 days (its limited to 3 as a setting)

In the "Whats New" tab there is a "Mark all as read" link which basically mass clears the posts but I think it is not listed properly on the mobile and usercp areas.

I have switched us back to cookie based for now until I discover why it changed.

It appears ForumRunner (and probably all mobile apps) strongly want you to switch to Database based post marking as per Forum Runner Support - FAQ: iPad/iPhone/iPod Touch Client Questions

It does explain the problem but I think a bit of template editing could help split the pages out. The full site at least has the Mark Read link breaking up the different sections.
