Hi all,

Anyone using any Performance Management Software currently? We have all the data in Staff performance in SIMS but we are looking to hook some form of online version for staff to be able to track their own progress and see appraisals etc etc. Somewhere the staff could log into and used in a browser and pull the data from SIMS?

I've looked at something called BlueSky that seems to be similar but details about it are very vague.

Could anyone point me in a direction? anyone else do this currently?

Cheers

Darren

ideal thanks,

Do these systems link in with SIMS or are they independant? The sort of thing we want is what these offer but to use the SIMS data. I know Capita charge an obsene amount of money to access and write back to thier database so not really sure if any software has vntured into this area yet with them?

Nope everything is seperate from SIMS other than being able to upload .csv files of teacher names etc from SIMS initially - certainly the case for SchoolCentre anyway.

How do your lot get on with this? What's the cost per year/person?

One of our new hires used it in their previous school and seems to get on well with it, but then they're relatively young and self-starting, so I'd expect them to.

Not a clue regarding cost - Teaching staff used it extensively and I believe it works well. I no longer work there but they also used this for lesson observation recordings

Theres a new PM Module due out for SIMS very soon also - i've seen mock ups of the screen but not sure of the actual date of release. No cost I believe as it's part of the Core SIMS package.
