Software Restriction Policies on Windows 7. Anyone know where the logs would be?

Having spent half a day trying to get applocker to work before realising that it doesn't work on Windows 7 Pro, I have moved to Software Restriction Policies to try to block access to computer management etc. So far I have failed miserably. I placed the restriction in the policy that applies to students but it doesn't block even simple apps like calc.exe. I was hoping I could find a log somewhere to help me but I can't find it anywhere. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

They show up in Event Viewer under Application logs. For easy viewing, make a custom view to show events only from source "SoftwareRestrictionPolicies". Edited March 26, 2012 by tigerstar

run gpresult and check its appling your GPO properly.
