Serenastra Posted March 26, 2012 Posted March 26, 2012 Having imported new drivers I want to add them to the default build disk, but they don't appear in the 'Add Drivers' option in the properties of the build disk. Has anyone got any clues why they wouldn't appear?
CharlieGreen Posted March 26, 2012 Posted March 26, 2012 I belive you have to make a new build disk. That is how I have done it, in the past
ajs Posted March 30, 2012 Posted March 30, 2012 What are the drivers for? If they are for anything other than the PE environment used by the build disk (e.g. they are for the OS once loaded, such as sound or graphics), then they won't be available to add to the build disk but will get pulled down during the build process. You only need to drivers to build disks if the first stage of the build can't see the network card to connect to the server or can't find the hard drives do the partitioning.
ReverentCreature Posted March 30, 2012 Posted March 30, 2012 What OS's are ticked for teh build disk? They must match those ticked for the driver! Windows PE must be ticked too or the driver wont work during the build process.
