Joanne Posted March 22, 2012 Posted March 22, 2012 (edited) Hello, Just a quickie... I have re-imaged a machine in a school and the teacher has now told me that they had work on the machine, even after I went through and backed up necessary documents, they didn't tell me about these that they require now. Soooo I have used acronis to put the image onto the hard drive. I have since scanned with "Recover My Files" but I can't see much of the old file structure. Please can you tell me what you would do? Which programs would you use? Thanks in advance! Edited March 22, 2012 by JoanneH
Oaktech Posted March 22, 2012 Posted March 22, 2012 My copy of reclaime has dealt with a reimaged laptop, allowing me to get back a lot of user files, for £60 it's worth getting in my opinion! 1
andyturpie Posted March 22, 2012 Posted March 22, 2012 pirisoft's recuva worth a punt - always use the free options first 1
Pete10141748 Posted March 22, 2012 Posted March 22, 2012 In the past I have used Recuva Recuva - Undelete, Unerase, File and Disk Recovery - Free Download set to "deep scan" (for a whole hard drive this will take hours and hours and hours....) EDIT: above poster beat me to it! That'll teach me to leave a half-typed reply open whlie I go to do a job lol 1
