Has anyone managed to get VirtualDJ Home working under Win7.

 

I can install it as admin and it runs fine, but under non-admin accounts I get the following error:

 

"please reinstall virtual dj from the official installer, if you have multiple user accounts then install on the account you are using, not the administrator."

A friend of mine had this problem which was fixed by copying the contents of the virtualdj folder (under documents) from the admin to the limited account's documents folder.

Thanks...but I am not sure how this fix will help us as the PC could be potentially used by any of our 1400 users

I Tried VirtualDJ Support : Here is there Response.

 

Hi,

 

sorry to tell you VDJ is a stand alone product and not designed to work inside a network!

You have to install VDJ on a computer with a user that have admin rights.

You have to use the same user to start/use VDJ on that computer.
