Using age restrictions on steam within school

Hi there, we're thinking of allowing pupils to log in to their steam account and/or purchasing some games and creating some steam accounts within school for pupils to play at lunchtimes and in clubs. However, I'm a bit concerned that they'll be downloading age inappropriate games and playing them in school leading to a lot of trouble for myself potentially in the future... does anyone know if there's any way I can lock down an installation of steam to not allow age inappropriate games on it?

Last year there was some info from valve about a version of Steam for education, not heard much about it since though.

I'm doubtful that steam has anything built into the application to do this, but one thing you could do is block the url: http://store.steampowered.com/agecheck/* (the * is a wildcard if you didn't guess)

That would stop the age cookie being set and prevent them from getting on the pages of games that are over 18 which then means they can't buy them I think.

I believe that parental controls are enforced per account, not per machine, so the answer is no.
