It's £283 after cashback - Cashback ammount has to come off the inc vat ammount, then you claim vat back on the rest. Still a pretty good deal though.

True, although since the full amount is paid for initially, *some other school* might claim VAT back on the invoiced amount and pay the cashback in as an unrelated donation ... tsk tsk naughty schools.
