Print fails after server spooled

We are having an intermittent issue with one of our network printers, a HP LaserJet 3600. Once or twice a day a document is sent to print which spools fine on our server and the printer picks up this job and displayed 'processing' but regardless of how long it's left the job doesn't come through, nor does it error. However if you turn the printer off and on the print will come through soon as the printer has booted and done configuring. The documents this has occurred with are seemingly random and different types too.

Ensure power saving is turned off, as this knocks off the networking too.... I learned this when I changed my trusty, but ailing epson for a HP all in one at home.
