We have a new computer ICT room of about 10 PC's, which currently have AB client installed and running on each machine. All machines are currently NOT on the domain.

At first, I couldnt see any machines through AB Control, so i added an exception into Windows Firewall to include ABclient.exe. and after a reboot on all machines, they quite happily appeared in AB control.

However, I have just started to notice that I can only see 2 or 3 machines at any given time, and the odd thing is, the machines vary between which ones are viewable in AB control E.G. PC 01, 02, 03 may appear and then a few hours later PC 07,08,09 migt appear.

Has this got anything to do with the machines not being on the domain (DNS/DHCP issue?) or it there something I am totally missing here :(

Yes I have, they supplied me with a troubleshooting manual which hasn't been to any use so far. I will keep looking into this and post if I find a solution

Problem was solved my creating a new group and manually adding in the computer names into that group. Although they still look offline, when attempting to connect, they all seem fine.
