Heh, great idea but ultimately pointless - looks like it was made by someone with absolutely no understanding of physics!

 

Why do you say that...it seems to be working as far as I can see...

Watch it when it goes whilst a ball is moving - although it will keep flat when it levels whilst balls are in motion it causes swerving due to differences in force/momentum.

 

(Don't take this as me knowing anything about physics, I don't. I do however know Pool, and I know the behaviour of the balls intimately - please don't also take that out of context ;) )

 

 

(PS: It's a bit more difficult to tell how it affects moving balls in that clip because the players are particularly bad ;) )

Tis true, not many other ways you'd get a pool table playable on most ferries :) Personally though you could just put a computer game in :D

 

Last ferry I was on (wales to ireland IIRC, many years ago) I completed the very new Super Mario World on the also newly release Super Nintendo ;)
