CyberNerd Posted May 12, 2007 Posted May 12, 2007 What do you include? For all teachers, regardless of subject. So far I have on my list: Antivirus MSOFFICE 2003 + ODF plugin OpenOffice FireFox Paint.NET InkScape (SVG editor) Foxit PDF viewer ActiveStudio3 eXe (SCORM editor) VLC (to send the headteacher to jail and provide some useful codec) MacroMedia Studio 8 Camstudio Audacity quicktime/realplayer alternative is this too much/not enough for a base install image. Any better ideas

ConTheITGuy Posted May 14, 2007 Posted May 14, 2007 Do you actually put both on Quackers? PARSql and PARS.net. We started with .net so there would be no point putting both on, just wondered if you could and if there was a purpose. Andy

We started with .net so there would be no point putting both on, just wondered if you could and if there was a purpose. Andy We started with PARSql and went to PARS.net about 1.5 years after. Non of the staff like PARS.net much, they all prefer PARSql, and so do i too. It loads faster is not as bloated and does not have a new release every week. There has been more than 50 updates since we put PARS.net on. So staff like to use the old one.
