@vikpaw - I checked and a few threads mention it but not the pros and cons.

I am interested in this particular system as we use their Room booking system and its very good.

We have just completed our first two parent's evening with it. I LOVE it! Really easy to set up, and we had so many unsolicitored emails with positive feedback from parents. We opened our Year 9 bookings at midnight and 38 parents had booked by the time I looked at 5am. We had 4 office staff available in school to take phone bookings for those not wishing to book over the internet but for us the vast majority did it themselves. Price is reasonable and transparent (displayed on their website). The developers were extremely helpful and added a few useful features that I requested. ***** - 5 stars from me!

Sorry, not had a proper look, but do they have to register to make bookings? Just thinking wouldn't it be annoying if you had to have multiple logins to the various school systems as a parent.

We use it here and it has been very successful. We are now on our 5th or so parents evening using it and it is going very well.

Their support is first class with near-immediate response and they are continually adding improvements to the system.

New for the last evening we ran was an option for parents to leave feedback on the system, and we have had very positive responses in general.

Previously we used a system where students had to take a sheet of paper around the various teachers to book appointments, so it is a vast improvement on that.

There are different options. The way we do it, the parents have to enter the correct student name and form group (this is validated) and their name and contact details are collected at first use. Subsequent logins with the same details then give access to previous bookings etc.

The eye-opening thing for me was the extent to which appts had previously been 'shaped' to suit some teachers - so no appts avail after 6 for example. This system puts parents firmly back in control. After all, it's directed time....!

Indeed, that was really the only complaints we had about the system. Some teachers really were not (some still aren't) comfortable with not being able to do that!

I used Room Booking System, the original product made by these guys, and it was simple and excellent. I say RBS and this product at BETT, and is has come a long way even then, so I know PES will be just as simple and easy to use, but powerful all the same.
