Deploying Discover via SOLUS3 onto Windows Parallels on a Mac

I've just installed a new SOLUS3 deployment setup onto a school server. However, it seems the head and a number of office staff who want Discover all use Apple Macs running Windows XP on 'Parallels' so they can use SIMS and FMS in Windows. Even though Windows is running in Parallels on the Mac (and we can connect up to and ping the devices), SOLUS3 cannot seem to deploy an agent to it at all. The network setup for SOLUS3 is all configured and all XP workstations can be seen in SOLUS3 except the XP/Mac parallels devices. Should SOLUS3 work normally here? Has anyone managed to get Discover deployed to a Windows Parallels environment? I'll try a manual agent install later but would assume as it is in essence a 'XP' environment on the network, SOLUS3 would pick it up.

Not sure how parallels works, but it's most likely doing some sort of NAT between host and windows instance. This could confuse SOLUS3. You may be able to configure how that NAT is done, or put it into bridged / passthrough mode or something, so that it is visible. Sorry don't know much more. Capita do have a few schools that are entirely MAC, or at least predominantly, so if you can find the right person, they may already have encountered this.
