Dos_Box Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 If, like me, you are in the market for some casual boots (not walking/work type) then Lidl are getting some Kappa boots in on Monday (30th Jan), and at £19.99 seem an utter bargain. And yes, they are leather!
featured_spectre Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 I have a pair of the black ones from when they last did the kappa boots on sale....this was 5 years ago, and aside from scuff marks on the leather...you would never know they are 5 years old. The sole is worn about 2% and I wore the boots every day for work for 2 years...they got ALOT of wear out of me and are still going strong. Absolute bargain I must say!
Dos_Box Posted January 30, 2012 Author Posted January 30, 2012 (edited) Just brought a pair on the way to work Beware the sizeing as the boxes show US sizes first. They are rather smart too. They are listed as work boots but have no steel toe caps and look rather smart. Bit gutted they had no brown ones in my size tho so had to go with black. Edited January 30, 2012 by Dos_Box
DT2 Posted January 30, 2012 Posted January 30, 2012 I should very much like to acquire a pair of those. The only problem being that the local lidl is a congregation point for the town's low-life amoebic scum, of which there seems to be rather a lot recently. So often best avoided.... :shudder: Should anyone know of a fairly clean and more approachable venue, I'd be grateful of that information DT
pooley Posted January 30, 2012 Posted January 30, 2012 Thanks for the heads up, will pop after work and see what they have left
