chrisredfield93 Posted January 18, 2012 Posted January 18, 2012 I have download an example of a program / souce code that was produced in vb 2008 (stated on website) off the internet, and when I open it up in VB2010 Express i get the following two options for converting, i was wondering if someone can explain the diffrences between the two.

pottski Posted January 18, 2012 Posted January 18, 2012 Hi, All i can think of is that you have two installations of VB 2010 Express. I would open it with the first option and see, but before you do take a copy of the original program so that you can still try the other one if it does not work. Rob

mac_shinobi Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 2010 = v10.0. I think Pottski might be right. But if OP re installed the app it would or should of over written itself. If I re install ccleaner or any other app it just over writes files, reg entries etc with the same values when it installs it the first time so why would installing VB Express 2010 suddenly make it come up as or with a different app name. So if you install it 3 times it will come up with VB.Net Express v2010 or something different to the first 2 ??
