Can Admin search the full text index in Exchange?

Hi,

 

Quick question, mostly in the subject: Can admin users search the full text index for the whole server? Specifically I need to be able to search through all users for messages sent and find a specific message, but not having full text search currently enabled, I can't test and my googling has failed me. Currently on Exchange 2003.

You need to search the mailboxes, you need access to the mailboxes to do this. You can then use something like exmerge to search.
