Hello

I have run in to a issue with our wireless networks. In windows 7 a student was able to go to manage wireless networks and reviel our network password. How do I go about disableing manage wireless networks with in GP or any other suggestions. We are going to change the password but need a fix before we do this... Thanks for your help.

Surely disabling access to Control Panel would/should do the trick?

You would think so but that doesnt do it.

Are the students local admins? If they are not they wont be able to get in there.

I can't do that without admin rights here. The real solution is not to use a password, but certificates

So what is need to do this? I have the Control Panel disabled on the students but not the staff OU. Our issue is one staff member logged in to a students laptop and the student then figured out how to access this information. What I am trying to do is block access to manage wireless networks ONLY if possible. (The staff are local admins on there own machines... Students are not)

Thanks
