@sted - pathetic collection, my wife came back with 76 pens!! OCR were giving them away quite literally by the fistful when she went there at 3pm on Saturday, as they said they didn't want to have to pack them away and take them back to the office - she got nearly 30 from them alone!

 

She got all the best freebies (either she just has more charm/swag/shameless pilfering than me, or teachers get more stuff than techies). She got a fold-up frisbee from somewhere and a geometry set from Casio.

 

I quite like the staple-less staplers from Casio (got some from another company last year too).

 

There is some truth in that ... I got a free copy of Corel software based on the fact that the guy liked my bag (ZX Spectrum) and then another guy on the reseller stand gave me the last goodie bag and about 30 pens! So have a cool bag is obviously the answer :-)
