Disaster Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 I know there are some available but has anyone used one and do they work? We now need about 4 remote's and blimey they're a rip off! So was hoping to pick up generic ones cheaper. Cheers for any info!
Abaddon Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 We use Wallis-Universal for spare/replacement remotes.. contact there is John Evans. Wallis UK - Specialist distributor of Remote Controls, Replacements and LCD/Plasma TV supports. Good service, cheaper than original remotes, but I guess it depends on how cheap you are looking for.. a remote for a Sanyo CXVM is £30 for example.
Disaster Posted January 5, 2012 Author Posted January 5, 2012 Cheers, I've been in contact with them before and their prices seemed reasonable.
Achandler Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 We get them cheap from the Audio Visual company we buy our projectors off, they are usually second ofcourse from projectors that they have scrapped but thats fine for me.
sted Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 ive had luck before with £10 from asda tv remotes depends on the porojector though i couldnt get it to work properly on a sony
jamesmay Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 We have programmed these: Car Universal Steering Wheel Remote Control Learning | eBay Program up using the remotes that still exist and then cable tie the cradle to the back of the monitor. don't give the teachers lots of buttons to mess up the configuration of the projectors
